Puting Bato is the highest peak in the Island Garden City of Samal, rising approximately 1,345 feet (410 meters) above sea level. The name “Puting Bato” translates to “White Rock,” a reference to the pale limestone face that’s visible from afar. The trail to the summit varies in difficulty depending on the chosen route. The Guilon and Sitio Tayapoc trails are the most popular, offering either a more direct climb or a gentler, winding path.
